Speed permitting process.
Governor Daniels signed the telecommunications bill in 2006. Its innovative provisions make it easier for providers, who want to offer advanced video (broadband) services, to receive regulatory approval from one state agency instead of negotiating agreements with dozens of localities. The reduction in red tape will accelerate the deployment of broadband services in the state.
